Ingredients

  • - 2 tbsp. butter
  • - 2 medium onion, diced
  • - 3 celery stalks, diced
  • - 2 tbsp. tomato puree
  • - 1 tbsp. sugar
  • - 5 cups v-8 juice, or you may substitute tomato juice
  • - 1 tbsp (3 tsp) salt, optional
  • - 2 tsp. worcestershire sauce
  • - 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • - 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • - 4 oz. vodka

How To Make bloody mary soup

  • Step 1
    Melt butter in large pan. Sauté onion and celery in butter over medium heat. Add tomato puree and sugar. Cook for 1 minute. Add V-8 juice and simmer for 8 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients. Strain. Serve hot or well chilled. Serves 6
