Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt ( to taste )
- 1 pound small lean beef tips
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1 small green bell pepper diced
- 1/2 cup carrots diced
- 4 cups beef stock
- 1 package hurst's garlic and herb lentils with seasoning packet
- 1 can hunts spicy red pepper diced tomatoes
- 2 cups water
How To Make beefy lentil soup

Step 1Salt the beef tips and brown in the olive oil on high heat.

Step 2Lower heat, add onion, bell pepper, carrot and saute until veggies start to soften.

Step 3add beef stock, water, and lentils. Cover. Bring up to a boil. Lower to simmer. Add seasoning packet. Simmer at least 30 minutes.
