    olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp
    kosher salt ( to taste )
  • 1 lb
    small lean beef tips
  • 1 small
    onion chopped
  • 1 small
    green bell pepper diced
  • 1/2 c
    carrots diced
  • 4 c
    beef stock
  • 1 pkg
    hurst's garlic and herb lentils with seasoning packet
  • 1 can(s)
    hunts spicy red pepper diced tomatoes
  • 2 c

How to Make Beefy Lentil Soup


  1. Salt the beef tips and brown in the olive oil on high heat.
  2. Lower heat, add onion, bell pepper, carrot and saute until veggies start to soften.
  3. add beef stock, water, and lentils. Cover. Bring up to a boil. Lower to simmer. Add seasoning packet. Simmer at least 30 minutes.
