Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    onions, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    carrot, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    celery, thinly sliced
  • 3 c
    mushrooms, freshly sliced
  • 4 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    barley
  • 4 tsp
    vegetable broth, powder
  • 5/8 tsp
    garlic powder

How to Make Barley Mushroom Soup

Step-by-Step

  1. Put vegetables in a large soup pot with a little water and cook for 5 minutes stirring frequently.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
  3. Cover and reduce heat to low and simmer 1 hour.
