Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup carrot, chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, thinly sliced
  • 3 cups mushrooms, freshly sliced
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup barley
  • 4 teaspoons vegetable broth, powder
  • 5/8 teaspoon garlic powder

How To Make barley mushroom soup

  • Step 1
    Put vegetables in a large soup pot with a little water and cook for 5 minutes stirring frequently.
  • Step 2
    Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
  • Step 3
    Cover and reduce heat to low and simmer 1 hour.
