barbecue soup
This is simply the result of my wanting soup and barbecue at the same time. Please let me know what you think of it and how you've tweaked it.

Ingredients
- 2 - cubes beef bouillon
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1/4 teaspoon smokehouse pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 15 ounces tomato sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon granulated garlic
- 1 tablespoon dry minced onion
- 1/2 cup 1/4" cubes of potato
- 8 ounces leftover bbq brisket, sausage, &/or chicken
- 3/4 cup ranch style beans or leftover pinto beans
How To Make barbecue soup

Step 1Dissolve bouillon cubes in 1 c. boiling water. Stir in tomato sauce and vinegar. Use remaining water to rinse tomato sauce can, then add this water to the mixture.

Step 2In a 1.5-quart crock pot, combine all ingredients EXCEPT beans. Cover and cook on low 6 - 8 hours.

Step 3Before serving, stir beans into soup or place some in each bowl before ladling the soup into it; stir to combine.

Step 4Consider adding 1/2 c. corn to soup or maybe topping with shredded cheddar cheese.
