Ingredients

  • MEATBALLS
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 clove panko bread crumbs
  • 1 bunch scallions sliced thinly divided
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili paste
  • 1 teaspoon miso paste
  • 1 teaspoon ginger grated
  • BROTH
  • 8 cups chicken stock
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons miso paste
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • - remaining scallions
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 cup cilantro chopped for serving
  • 2 - limes for serving

How To Make asian chicken meatballs in a ginger miso broth

  • Step 1
    Add all ingredients for meatballs together but only use two tablespoons of scallions reserve the rest for broth. roll into balls. Set aside
  • Step 2
    Add all ingredients for broth together except for cilantro and lime. Bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and add meatballs a few at a time and poach until done removing them with a slotted spoon and repeat until all meatballs are done.
  • Step 3
    Serve by placing meatballs in bowl pour broth over top, sprinkle with cilantro and a squeeze of lime juice.
