Ingredients

MEATBALLS

1 lb
ground chicken
1 large
egg
1/4 clove
panko bread crumbs
1 bunch
scallions sliced thinly divided
2 tsp
soy sauce
1 Tbsp
chili paste
1 tsp
miso paste
1 tsp
ginger grated

BROTH

8 c
chicken stock
4 c
water
2 Tbsp
miso paste
1 Tbsp
grated ginger
4 clove
garlic minced
remaining scallions
2 Tbsp
fish sauce
1 c
cilantro chopped for serving

limes for serving

How to Make Asian Chicken Meatballs in a Ginger Miso Broth

Step-by-Step

  • 1Add all ingredients for meatballs together but only use two tablespoons of scallions reserve the rest for broth. roll into balls. Set aside
  • 2Add all ingredients for broth together except for cilantro and lime. Bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and add meatballs a few at a time and poach until done removing them with a slotted spoon and repeat until all meatballs are done.
  • 3Serve by placing meatballs in bowl pour broth over top, sprinkle with cilantro and a squeeze of lime juice.
