Ingredients For thai style prawn and salmon noodle soup

    shrimp peeled and deviened
  • 1
    salmon filet skinned and cut into chunks
  • 1 tsp
    coriander seeds
  • 1
    inch piece of ginger sliced
  • 4 clove
    garlic sliced
  • 4 c
    fish stock
  • 3 Tbsp
    fish sauce
  • 2
    red chilies seeded and sliced
  • 4
    scallions chopped
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/4 c
    fresh cilantro chopped
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 7 oz
    rice noodles

How To Make thai style prawn and salmon noodle soup

  • 1
    Place the fish stock in a pot and add the ginger, garlic and coriander seeds. BRing to a bowl then simmer at med heat for 10 minutes. Let sit for another 10 minutes then strain through a fine mesh strainer discarding the solids.

    Place the stock back on the stove and add the fish sauce, red chilies, brown sugar and scallions. Simmer 2 minutes.

    Place the noodles in another pan of boiling water to cook.

    Add the salmon to the pot and cook 2 minutes. Add the shrimp and cook 2 more minutes. Add the lemon juice

    Place the noodles in bowls. With a slotted spoon, spoon the fish and shrimp on the noodles. ladle the broth in the bowl and top with cilantro
