Ingredients

  • 8 cups chicken stock
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce
  • 1 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • - salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon diced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup chopped parsley
  • 2 cups dry white wine
  • 2 pounds shrimp, chopped

How To Make shrimp soup

  • Step 1
    Put ingredients, except shrimp, in saucepan with chicken stock.
  • Step 2
    Bring to boil and then lower heat.
  • Step 3
    Cover, and cook for 45 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Add shrimp and simmer for 30 minutes more.
  • Step 5
    You may wish to experiment with the amount of wine you use; 2 cups in the pot may be a bit much for some tastes.
