  • 8 c
    chicken stock
  • 2 tsp
    hot sauce
  • 1 c
    green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    celery, chopped
  • ·
    salt to taste
  • 1 Tbsp
    diced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 c
    chopped parsley
  • 2 c
    dry white wine
  • 2 lb
    shrimp, chopped

How to Make Shrimp Soup


  1. Put ingredients, except shrimp, in saucepan with chicken stock.
  2. Bring to boil and then lower heat.
  3. Cover, and cook for 45 minutes.
  4. Add shrimp and simmer for 30 minutes more.
  5. You may wish to experiment with the amount of wine you use; 2 cups in the pot may be a bit much for some tastes.
