shrimp and bass tom yum soup
I made this with some fresh bass filets that we caught fishing in our favorite lake. This was so good. I have shared a recipe for Thai chicken stock, but you can use regular chicken stock or seafood sauce.

Ingredients
- 4 cups Thai chicken stock
- 3 scallions, chopped white and light green parts only
- 10 medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 bass filets, cut into chunks
- 6 tablespoons fish sauce
- 4 tablespoons lime juice
- 3 tablespoons chili paste in soy bean sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- fresh cilantro for garnish
How To Make shrimp and bass tom yum soup

Step 1Bring the chicken stock to a boil. Add the scallions and reduce the heat to medium. Add the shrimp and bass, cook 1 minute.

Step 2Add the fish sauce, lime juice, chili paste, and brown sugar. Continue to cook 2 more minutes. Taste and adjust seasonings. Garnish with cilantro.
