Ingredients

  • 2 - onions, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups scallops
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup potatoes, diced
  • 4 cups scalded milk
  • - salt and pepper

How To Make scallop chowder

  • Step 1
    Saute onions in butter.
  • Step 2
    Remove onions from pan.
  • Step 3
    Cut up scallops and saute in butter.
  • Step 4
    Add onions, scallops and potatoes to boiling water.
  • Step 5
    Simmer 30 minutes.
  • Step 6
    Add scalded milk and simmer 15 minutes.
  • Step 7
    Add seasoning.
