THIS HAS TAKEN THE PLACE OF CLAM CHOWDER AS MY FAVOERITE SOUP. I MAKE A MEAL OUT OF THIS DELISH SOUP ALONG WITH MY HOMEMADE HAWAIIAN SWEET ROLLS. I GIVE THIS ONE A 5 STAR MEAL RATING.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 2 - cloves of garlic minced
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 - 14-1/2 oz. can chicken broth
- 1 cup raw diced potatos (peeled)
- 1 cup shredded carrot
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
- 3/4 teaspoon dill weed
- 1 - 14-3/4 oz. can of cream-style corn
- 2 cups half-and-half cream
- 1 - 14-3/4 oz. can salmon, drained, flaked, bones and skin removed

Step 1IN A DUTCH OVEN OR SOUP KETTLE, SAUTE ONION,CELERY,BELL PEPPER AND GARLIC IN BUTTER UNTIL ALL IS TENDER.

Step 2ADD BROTH, POTATOS, CARROTS,SALT,PEPPER AND DILL; BRING TO A BOIL. REDUCE HEAT; COVER AND SIMMER FOR 40 MINUTES.

Step 3STIR IN THE CORN, CREAM, AND SALMON. SIMMER 15 MINUTES LONGER.
