This has an unusual flavor it is not real fishy it is light and creamy.

Ingredients

  • 2) 8oz cans add canned liquid
  • 1 T. - garlic salt
  • 3/4 t. - pepper
  • 2 cups - water
  • 2 medium potatoes peeled or unpeeled
  • 2 medium bell peppers
  • 4 - green onions
  • 1 pint half and half
  • 1) 16oz - bag frozen corn

How To Make oyster chowder

  • Step 1
    In crock pot set on high add your chicken broth and water, to this add your garlic salt, pepper and frozen corn. Cut your bell peppers into small bite sized pieces, then cut your onions into 1/4 inch pieces, cut the potatoes into 1/4 to 1/2 inch cubes. Add to your pot. Cook on high for 2 hours, then change seting to low for the remaining 4 hours of cooking time; then add your oysters. In 3 hours add your half and half. Enjoy :?)
  • Step 2
    You can substitue shrimp, lobster or clams. You can also add all these to your chowder for a real kickin chowder.
