Ingredients
- 2 - onions
- 6 cups chicken stock
- 2 - carrots, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons dill
- 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- pinch salt
- pinch pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted
- 4 - yellow squash
- 2 - potatoes, diced
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 pound shrimp, cooked
How To Make new orleans shrimp & squash bisque

Step 1In a large sauce pan, saute onions in butter, add stock, squash, potatoes and carrots.

Step 2Cook until vegetables are tender; cool and puree in blender.

Step 3Return bisque to stove and add remaining ingredients; bring to boil for 2 minutes, then serve.

Step 4Add dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of dill weed for garnish, if desired.
