- 1 - garlic clove, minced
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 quart water
- 2 pounds shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 can stewed tomatoes
- 1 - hot red pepper
- - cayenne, to taste
- 1 - onion, chopped
- 1 - bay leaf
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 4 - crabs
How To Make gumbo

Step 1Combine okra, garlic, tomato paste, stewed tomatoes, onion, bay leaf and water.

Step 2Cook slowly until done.

Step 3Brown flour, add enough water to make a roux.

Step 4Add roux, shrimp, crabs and season to taste.
