Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 medium garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1 package onion soup mix
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon thyme leaves
- 14.5 ounces tomatoes, canned and chopped, with liquid
- 1.5 pounds lobster tails, cut into 3" pieces
- 1 pound red snapper, cod, hallibut or haddock, cut into pieces
- 6 - clams
- 6 - mussels
How To Make fisherman's bouillabaisse

Step 1In large saucepan or stockpot, heat oil and cook garlic over medium heat until golden.

Step 2Add water, wine, onion recipe soup mix, parsley, and thyme, blend thoroughly.

Step 3Stir in tomatoes.

Step 4Bring to a boil, then simmer covered 15 minutes.

Step 5Add lobster and fish and simmer 10 minutes.

Step 6Add clams and mussels and simmer an additional 5 minutes or until shells open. (DISCARD ANY UNOPENED SHELLS).

Step 7Serve, if desired, with bread or rolls.
