Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 10.75 ounces chicken broth, condensed
- 5.5 ounces au gratin potato mix
- 2 cups water
- 17 ounces corn
- 5/8 teaspoon pepper
- 15.5 ounces red salmon, drained, boned, skinned and cut into chunks
- 1.5 cups milk
- 1/3 cup evaporated milk
How To Make easy salmon chowder

Step 1Fry the bacon in a 10-inch skillet until crisp, about 8 minutes; remove and drain on paper towels then crumble.

Step 2Combine the onion, chicken broth, au gratin potato mix (both the potatoes and sauce mix), water, undrained corn, and pepper with the bacon in a 3 1/2-quart slow cooker.

Step 3Cover and cook, on the low setting, 6 hours.

Step 4Add the salmon, milk and evaporated milk.

Step 5Cover and cook, on the high setting, 15 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
