My mother would make these when she didn't have a lot of time to cook. It's a great warm chowder for a cool night.

Ingredients

4 c
hot water

4.9 oz pkg betty crocker au gratin potatoes
1/2 tsp
salt
1 c
frozen corn kernels
1 c
frozen broccoli florets
2-1/2 c
milk
1 small
onion, chopped

6-1/2 oz cans minced clams, undrained.

How to Make Easy clam-potato chowder

Step-by-Step

  • 1In lg heavy pot, heat water, potatoes and salt to boiling. Boil for 5 mins, drain.
  • 2Stir in sauce mix and remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling over med-high heat, stirring occasionally.
  • 3Reduce heat to med-low and simmer, uncovered for 5 mins, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender.
