Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, cooked
- 1 can water chestnuts, drained
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 - onion, sliced
- 1 cup celery, sliced
- 1/2 pound asparagus, steamed
- 11 ounces mandarin oranges, sectioned and drained
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- - "just a pinch" of pepper
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- - cooked rice
How To Make asparagus and shrimp oriental

Step 1Shell, devein shrimp.

Step 2Drain and slice water chestnuts.

Step 3Arrange shrimp, chestnuts, mushrooms, onion, celery, asparagus and oranges on large tray.

Step 4Heat oil in wok or electric skillet.

Step 5Add onion, celery, salt, pepper and sugar.

Step 6Cook, stirring, until vegetables are crisp-tender.

Step 7Add asparagus and shrimp.

Step 8Place mushrooms and water chestnuts over shrimp.

Step 9Sprinkle with soy sauce.

Step 10Place orange sections on top.

Step 11Cover, cook until mixture begins to steam.
