(1 RATING)
I have been making this ever since I tasted it at a friends house years ago. It's super easy and delicious. Even my picky kids eat it!

How To Make wild rice soup
-
Step 1Following package directions, cook wild rice for approximately 45 minutes.
-
Step 2Saute bacon and onion in a stockpot until onion is soft and bacon is cooked through (I like my bacon a bit crunchy).
-
Step 3Add soups, evaporated milk, cheese and wild rice to bacon and onion mixture and mix thoroughly. Heat to desired temperature. If necessary, add water for desired consistency.
