the best squash casserole

After my squash is cooked & drained I run it thru my food processor because i don't like large, stringy pieces of squash. Don't get me wrong, I love squash, but slurping a stringy piece of squash isn't ladylike. :)

Ingredients
- 2 cups squash, cooked, drained & mashed;
- 2 cups cracker crumbs, or bread crumbs
- 2 cups x-sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted; or any cream soup of your choice
- 1/4 cup margarine or butter
How To Make the best squash casserole

Step 1Mix all ingredients. Pour into buttered casserole.

Step 2Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown & bubbly
