Ingredients
- 2 packages frozen spinach, chopped
- 1/4 cup onions, chopped
- 1/3 cup sifted flour
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/4 cup peanut oil
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 6 cups milk
- 1 - water
How To Make spinach soup

Step 1Cook frozen chopped spinach in unsalted water according to directions and drain.

Step 2Heat oil in large saucepan.

Step 3Add onion and saute until transparent (5 minutes).

Step 4Remove from heat.

Step 5Blend in flour, salt, pepper and nutmeg.

Step 6Stirring constantly, gradually add milk.

Step 7Then add spinach.

Step 8Cook over medium-high heat (about 15 minutes).

Step 9Stir often to prevent scorching.
