Ingredients
- 3 cups potatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups scalded milk
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon flour
- - salt & pepper to taste
How To Make sour cream potato soup

Step 1Combine the water and broth and in it cook the potatoes, celery and onion in a covered pan until very tender.

Step 2Do not drain.

Step 3Press it through a sieve.

Step 4Add milk and butter.

Step 5Mix sour cream with flour until smooth.

Step 6Add to soup, and cook stirring constantly, until thickened.

Step 7Season to taste with salt and pepper.
