chicken broth
1 medium
yellow onion, chopped
3 medium
leeks, chopped whites only
6 medium
potatoes, medium, cubed
1 c
heavy cream
1 dash(es)
ground chervil
1/2 tsp
salt and pepper
1 Tbsp
1 Tbsp
ground parsley

How to Make Potatoe Leek Soup


  • 1Simmer chicken broth, leeks, onions and cubed potatoes for 20 minutes.
  • 2Mash some of the onions and potatoes to make a cloudy stew.
  • 3Add heavy cream, chervil, salt, pepper and parsley to soup. Stir and eat.
  • 4Sometimes I use tarragon instead of chervil for a variety in flavor.
