Another simple soup recipe. I've been making this for years. It's especially good when it really starts to get cooler out; which for those of us in Florida means right around Christmas! But it is good anytime of year and so easy to put together.

Ingredients For potato soup

1celery stalk, chopped

1medium onion, chopped

2 Tbspbutter
-
2 pkgchicken gravy mix, any brand

1/4 tspcelery salt
-
1/4 tspcumin
-
1/4 tspcajun seasoning

salt and pepper to taste
-
4 cwhole milk, or 2%
-
5medium potatos, peeled, cooked and cubed
-
1 cvelveeta cheese, cubed
How To Make potato soup

1In a large sauce pan or dutch oven, sautee celery and onion in butter until tender. Stir in chicken gravy packet, celery salt, cumin, cajon seasoning and salt and pepper.

2Gradually add milk while stirring. Bring to a brief boil, stir for two minutes and reduce heat. Stir in potatos and cheese. Cook until heated through and cheese is melted.
