Polska Kielbasa Potato Soup

1In a dutch oven, saute onion and carrots in butter until onion is tender.
4Reduce heat; simmer until vegetables are tender, about 25 minutes.
6Puree at least half of mixture in blender (more blended makes creamier soup).
9Cook over low heat until sausage is heated through.
