    onion, chopped
  • 3
    carrots, chopped
  • 1/4 c
  • 3 large
    baking potatoes, chopped
  • 6 c
    chicken broth
  • 3/4 lb
    polska kielbasa, chopped
  • 2 c

How to Make Polska Kielbasa Potato Soup


  1. In a dutch oven, saute onion and carrots in butter until onion is tender.
  2. Add potatoes and broth.
  3. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat; simmer until vegetables are tender, about 25 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Puree at least half of mixture in blender (more blended makes creamier soup).
  7. Return to saucepan.
  8. Add milk and sausage.
  9. Cook over low heat until sausage is heated through.
