Ingredients

  • 2 pounds peaches
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1.5 tablespoons amaretto liqueur
  • 6 tablespoons half and half
  • - grated nutmeg or cardamon

How To Make peaches and cream soup

  • Step 1
    Drop the peaches into boiling water.
  • Step 2
    Keep the water at a simmer for about half a minute.
  • Step 3
    Remove the peaches, and let them cool.
  • Step 4
    Then peel, pit, and slice them.
  • Step 5
    Put the peaches with the rest of the ingredients into a blender.
  • Step 6
    Blend the soup until it is smooth, then chill it.
  • Step 7
    Serve with a sprinkling of nutmeg or cardamon.
