Ingredients

  • 8 medium potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 7 ounces jar roasted red pepper drained and choped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon each ground sage and black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 - head broccoli cut into florets or large bag frozen broccoli
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 pound bacon cooked and crumbled
  • - fresh shredded parmesan cheese for serving

How To Make parmesan potato and broccoli soup

  • Step 1
    Place all ingredients up the the flour in slow cooker and cook on low 7 hours. Mix the flour with the sour cream until smooth. Add to the slow cooker along with the heavy cream , grated Parmesan cheese and bacon Cook another 1 hour
  • Step 2
    Serve sprinkled with shredded Parmesan cheese.
