1In a large sauce pan cook broccoli and onion in the water and bouillon cubes. Boil until tender but not mushy. Do not drain!
2While the vegetables are cooking melt butter in a medium sauce pan. Stir in flour and salt. Add the milk while whisking. Whisk until smooth. Let it come to a boil continuing to whisk. This will be thick.
3When vegetables are tender add white sauce directly into vegetables. Stir together. Add the cubed cream cheese. Continue stirring until the cheese is melted. Serve.
