  • 4 c
    sliced mushrooms
  • 1 large
    chopped onions
  • 1 c
    pearl barley
  • 3 c
  • 2 c
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 3 Tbsp
    chicken base
  • 1 tsp
    white peppers
  • ·
    to thicken roux equal parts flour and margarine cooked

How to Make Mushroom Barley Soup


  1. Place all in stock pot Except milk & roux. Simmer until onions are cooked. Temper the milk in tc the soup. Add the roux to thicken. This soup should be on the thick side. ENJOY
