This is my second best soup. You will like this one.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1 large chopped onions
  • 1 cup pearl barley
  • 3 cups milk
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons chicken base
  • 1 teaspoon white peppers
  • - to thicken roux equal parts flour and margarine cooked

How To Make mushroom barley soup

  • Step 1
    Place all in stock pot Except milk & roux. Simmer until onions are cooked. Temper the milk in tc the soup. Add the roux to thicken. This soup should be on the thick side. ENJOY
