2-3 cups potatoes cubed
3 cups milk
2 tbl. grated carrots
1/2 tsp. salt
1 small onion chopped
3 tbl. butter
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 slices of bacon

How to Make Moms Potato Soup


  • 1In a medium pot boil cubed potatoes till done drain and set a side. In a heavy pot cook bacon. Remove bacon to drain, add onion to the bacon drippings and cook until tender. Slowly add milk and other seasonings including carrots. When milk is hot blend in potatoes. Simmer over low heat about ten minutes, stirring occasionally. This is really good served with hot cornbread!
