Ingredients

  • 2 pkg
    frozen hash browns
  • 4 c
    water
  • 1 large
    onion chopped
  • 1 tsp
    celery seeds
  • 4
    cubes chicken bouillion
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 4 can(s)
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 qt
    milk
  • 2 c
    fully cooked ham cubes
  • 1 Tbsp
    parsley flakes
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    garlic salt
  • ·
    bacon bits

How to Make Hash Brown Soup

Step-by-Step

  1. in pan combine the first six ingredients and bring to boil.Reduce heat cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  2. mash vegetables with the cooking liquid
  3. add soup,milk and stir till smooth
  4. add ham, parsley and garlic salt simmer 15 minutes
  5. garnish with bacon bits
