My grandmother use to make this soup for us kids all the time, it has gone on to my mother and now myself. Best potato soup around.

Ingredients
- 3 cups red potatoes (diced)
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup carrots (chopped)
- 1/2 cup onions (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 - chicken boulin cube
- - pepper to taste
- INGREDIENTS AFTER THE TOP PART HAS BEEN COOKED
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 pound velvetta cheese (cubed)
How To Make grandma's famous cheese potato soup

Step 1Mix all ingredients on the top and cover simmer for 15 minutes.

Step 2Add ingredients after the top has been cooked . Stir slowly for 10 minutes on low low temp. Remove and serve. I sometimes add some bacon that I fry up also and put croutons on the top with a sprinkle of cheese.
