gigi's green bean casserole
We've decided to do the green bean casserole this year. So I figured this variation out.

Ingredients
- 2 cans del monte green beans, any style
- 1 can campbells cream of mushroom, or cream of celery
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons chopped pimento
- scant - amount of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 can french fried onions
- 1/2 cup bacon bits (real bacon) or several slices crisped and crushed
How To Make gigi's green bean casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 f Saute the chopped onions in a small amount of butter, margarine, or oil until translucent. Stir into the canned soup. (You could use half cream of mushroom and cream of celery) add the pimento,sour cream, salt, & pepper mixing well. Pour into a vegetable sprayed casserole pan top with the crunchy bacon and fried onions then sprinkle a bit of black pepper on top.

Step 2Bake at 350 degrees f, for 50 min
