- 16 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled, deveined and cut lengthwise
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 11 ounces salsa
- 1/4 cup sherry
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
How To Make florida shrimp bisque

Step 1Melt butter over medium heat. Add the flour and milk, stirring until smooth.

Step 2In a separate skillet, saute shrimp and onions in olive oil until the shrimp are opaque.

Step 3Add shrimp, salsa, sherry and Worcestershire sauce to the milk/flour mixture, and heat until bubbly.

Step 4Serve sprinkled with grated cheese, if desired. Really good with garlic toast.
