Just what the name says, this soup is perfect if you are feeling under the weather. Light enough to not be over-filling, and hearty enough to keep you satisfied. I made this for the first time when my boyfriends daughter had the flu, now she requests it :)

  • 1 can(s)
    cream of celery condensed soup
  • 2 can(s)
    chicken broth or vegetable broth
  • 1
    stalk celery, chopped
  • 1 medium
    carrot or about 8-10 baby carrots, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    frozen peas
  • 1
    green onion, sliced
  • 1 c
    (generous) dry wide egg noodles
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch
    dried thyme
  • 1 pinch
    dried parsley

How to Make Feel Better Soup


  1. Mix together the soup and broth in a 2 QT saucepan. Add the carrots celery and onion. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  2. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 10-15 minutes until carrots are almost fork tender. Add noodles, herbs and peas. Continue to simmer for 5-10 minutes, until noodles are Al Dente. Remove from heat and let sit 2-3 minutes. Stir and serve.
  3. *note* The liquid may appear to be separating, that's OK, after its cooled down and stirred it goes to a creamy texture.
