Ingredients
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon each salt and water
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups milk
- 4 tablespoons butter
- salt and pepper
How To Make dumpling soup

Step 1Whisk the egg with the salt and water. Slowly add the flour until thick.

Step 2Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Dip the spoon into the water and scoup a spoonful of the dough and drop it into the water. Cook 5 to 10 minutes. They will rise to the top of the water. Scoop them out with slotted spoon or drain.carefully through a strainer. Set aside.

Step 3Add the milk to the pan and bring to a simmer. Put the dumplings in the milk. Add the butter salt and pepper. Serve once warmed through.
