Ingredients
- 2 large broccoli head, chopped, using mostly the florets
- 1 small white onion, diced
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups half & half
- 1 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 8 ounces sharp white cheddar, grated
- 4 ounces pepper jack cheese, grated
How To Make crock pot broccoli cheese soup

Step 1Add the broccoli, onion, garlic, chicken broth, 1/2 & 1/2, and spices to your crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, until broccoli is very tender.

Step 2Turn off the crockpot. Using an immersion blender, blend soup to a smooth consistency.

Step 3Add cheese to the blended, hot soup and stir until melted and creamy. Serve immediately.
