- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/3 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons old bay seasoning
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 cups chicken or seafood stock
- 1 cup each dry white wine and heavy cream
- 1 package country style gravy prepared according to package directions
- 8 ounces crab meat
- salt and pepper to taste
How To Make creamy crab soup

Step 1Melt the butter in a large pot. Stir in the flour and cook until browned about 3 minutes. Add the Old bay seasoning and Worcestershire sauce. Whisk in the chicken stock, wine and heavy cream. Stir the gravy into the soup and simmer 5 minutes.

Step 2Stir in the crab meat. Simmer 2 minutes. Taste and season with salt and pepper.
