- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup low sodium chicken broth
- 1/2 cup lowfat or skimmed milk
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make cream soup substitute

Step 1Melt Butter in saucepan over med. low heat

Step 2Stir in flour, stirring until smooth and bubbly

Step 3Remove from heat and add broth and milk stirring to keep smooth

Step 4Return to heat, bring sauce to gentle boi stirring constantly, until it thickens
