- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 cup pecans, finely ground
- 2 cups broth
- 1/2 cup celery leaves
- 1.5 cups half and half or light cream
- 1 - vegetable bouillon cube
- 4 - mint sprig, fresh
- 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
How To Make cream of pecan soup

Step 1Melt butter; add onion and saute 5 minutes.

Step 2Stir in flour and broth.

Step 3Add seasonings, pecans, and celery leaves; simmer 10 minutes.

Step 4Stir in cream and simmer 5 minutes longer.

Step 5Serve with mint.
