7 1/2 cups


  • 1 c
    chopped celery
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 c
    milk or half and half
  • 1/2 medium
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 c
    peanut butter, creamy
  • ·
    chopped chives
  • 7 c
    chicken broth

How to Make Cream of Peanut Butter Soup


  1. Saute celery & onion in butter in a large dutch oven until tender; add flour. Stir until smmoth. Cook 1 minute stiring constantly.
  2. Gradually adding chicken broth, bring mixture to a boil. Add peanut butter & milk; reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Stirrin constantly ( do not boil).
  3. Garnish soup w/ chives.
