Sounds odd but its good.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup milk or half and half
  • 1/2 medium onion
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup peanut butter, creamy
  • - chopped chives
  • 7 cups chicken broth

How To Make cream of peanut butter soup

  • Step 1
    Saute celery & onion in butter in a large dutch oven until tender; add flour. Stir until smmoth. Cook 1 minute stiring constantly.
  • Step 2
    Gradually adding chicken broth, bring mixture to a boil. Add peanut butter & milk; reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Stirrin constantly ( do not boil).
  • Step 3
    Garnish soup w/ chives.
