How to Make Cream of Broccoli Soup
- In large suacepan cook broccoli in the boiling water for 8-10 minutes. Drain broccoli, reserving liquid.( Add additional water, if necessary, to make 1-1/2 cups liquid.)
- In same pan melt butter. Stir flour, bouillon granules and pepper. Add milk all at once. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 minute more.
- Stir in broccoli mixture; heat through.
