broccoli florets
2 c
boiling water
3 Tbsp
1/4 c
all purpose flour
2 tsp
instant chicken bouillon granules
black pepper
2 c
milk or half and half

How to Make Cream of Broccoli Soup


  • 1In large suacepan cook broccoli in the boiling water for 8-10 minutes. Drain broccoli, reserving liquid.( Add additional water, if necessary, to make 1-1/2 cups liquid.)
  • 2In same pan melt butter. Stir flour, bouillon granules and pepper. Add milk all at once. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 minute more.
  • 3Stir in broccoli mixture; heat through.
  • 4185 calories and 8 grams carb
