I know there are lots of recipes out there for potato soup. I wasn't sure if there was one made with cream cheese. This recipe comes from my daughters friend in Ohio, Susan D.

Ingredients
- 8-10 - potatoes, peeled & cubed
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 - onion, chopped
- 8 ounces cream cheese, cubed
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 can large can of chicken broth
How To Make cream cheese potato soup

Step 1Saute onion in butter. Add broth, soup & cubed cheese. Cook over medium heat until cream cheese melts.

Step 2Add potatoes, salt & pepper to taste. Cook about 1-2 hours over low heat, stirring occasionally

Step 3Sprinkle with chives & bacon bits when served.
