Country Sausage n' Potato Soup
1 lbany good brand regular breakfast sausage
1 lbany good brand hot breakfast sausage (or regular, if you dont't like hot)
1 largeonion, diced
1/2 ccelery, diced
2 can(s)(14.5 ounce) chicken broth
2 can(s)(10 and 3/4 ounce) cream of chicken soup
2 can(s)(10 and 3/4 ounce) cream of celery soup
1 pkg(32 ounce) frozen southern style hash brown potatoes
1soup can of milk ( or more, to thin soup)
How to Make Country Sausage n' Potato Soup
- In a large soup pot, brown sausage, onion, and celery until vegetables are tender and sausage is cooked.
- Mix together in a bowl, all the broths and soups. Stir until nicely blended, then add to the sausage mixture and mix until well combined. Stir in the package of hash brown potatoes.
- Simmer soup until potatoes are tender (about 20-30 minutes). Fill a soup can with milk and thin soup if needed (I find I need to thin mine a bit) Salt and pepper to taste as usual. Serves 8-10
