Ingredients For chicken wild rice soup in instant pot

1 1/2 lbchicken breast (uncooked)cut into bite size pieces

1 cdiced celery

1 cgrated or diced carrot

6 cwater

4 Tbspbetter than bouillon chicken base

1/2 cwild rice (uncooked)

1/2 cbrown rice (uncooked)

1 tspblack pepper
-
1 1/2 tspsalt
-
1 Tbspdried parsley
-
1 tspgarlic powder
-
1/4 tspsugar
-
1/2 tspthyme (optional)
-
1/4 cbutter
-
1/2 cflour
-
2 chalf & half
How To Make chicken wild rice soup in instant pot

1Place chicken, celery, carrots, water, bouillon, rice, pepper, salt, parsley, sugar, garlic powder, and thyme into the pressure cooker.

2Lock on lid. Be sure valve is set to sealing. Pressure cook for 25 minutes.

3Let pressure release for 10 minutes naturally. Then open valve to release rest of pressure.

4Melt butter in microwave, stir in flour a tablespoon at a time. Ladle in a cup of the soup broth and stir until creamy.

5Turn pressure cooker to 'saute' and add the flour mixture to soup stirring as it starts to thicken. As it thickens, add in the half and half.
