Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups diced cooked chicken
- 16 ounces cream-style corn
- 16 ounces cut corn
- 1 cup diced onions
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups 1/2 and 1/2 cream
- - white pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons butter
- - roux to thicken the soup
- 3 tablespoons chicken base or to taste
How To Make chicken and corn chowder

Step 1In a stock pot, Saute the chicken. Add the potatoes & onions in water boil until tender. Add all the remaining ingredients to the stock pot, (except) half and half & roux. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer, now add cream or milk temper the milk in the stock, and Roux to get the texture you like. Simmer another 15 minutes.
