  • 1 - onion,diced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese,cubed
  • 1 cup cooked ham,not deli
  • 1 bunch broccoli,chopped

How To Make cheddar-broccoli soup

  • Step 1
    Saute' onion in butter until tender;add cornstarch and black pepper,mixing well. Slowly pour in milk,stirring constantly. Add cheese;stir until melted. Mix in ham and broccoli;cook on low heat for one hour.
