- 3 or 4 large
- 1 medium
- water to cover
- salt and pepper
- 1 qt
- 1 pt
- half and half
How to Make Buttermilk Soup
- 1Peel, dice, and cook potatoes and onion in lightly salted water until done.
- 2Mash the potatoes slightly in the water they were cooked in.
- 3Beat two eggs. Add a little cream. Mix.
Add buttermilk and the rest of the cream and add to potato mixture.
- 4Add salt and pepper to taste.
Heat but (DO NOT BOIL)
