Ingredients
- 3 large carrots
- 4 medium potatoes
- 2 small heads fresh broccoli
- 2 cans chicken broth (14.5 oz)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 3 tablespoons cold butter
- 1/3 cup flour
- 4 cups milk
- 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder with parsley
- 6 slices bacon, cooked
How To Make broccoli potato soup and grilled club

Step 1Peel and cut carrots into small slices. Peel and cube potatoes. Cut broccoli into small florets (not too small).

Step 2In a large pot, combine the chicken broth with carrots, potatoes, and onion powder. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 10 minutes.

Step 3Add broccoli. Continue simmering for an additional 10 minutes.

Step 4Use a large saucepan and melt butter.

Step 5Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute or until brown.

Step 6Whisk in milk and cook for 5 minutes or until sauce thickens.

Step 7Add cheese and stir until melted.

Step 8Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder with parsley.

Step 9Pour cheese mixture into large pot and combine thoroughly.

Step 10Crumble the cooked bacon.
