    sweet pototes, steamed and mashed

    chicken broth, defatted
  • 1/2 c
    evaporated milk
  • ·
    "just a pinch" of salt
  • ·
    "just a pinch" of pepper
  • 2
    asparagus spears, steamed and cut in pieces

How to Make Bombay Soup

Step-by-Step

  1. In small saucepan, melt butter; Add garlic and curry powder and saute' until garlic is soft.
  2. Add yam and broth.
  3. Stir in milk and heat without boiling; Adjust seasonings to taste.
  4. Garnish with asparagus, if desired.
