sweet pototes, steamed and mashed

chicken broth, defatted
1/2 c
evaporated milk
"just a pinch" of salt
"just a pinch" of pepper
asparagus spears, steamed and cut in pieces

How to Make Bombay Soup


  • 1In small saucepan, melt butter; Add garlic and curry powder and saute' until garlic is soft.
  • 2Add yam and broth.
  • 3Stir in milk and heat without boiling; Adjust seasonings to taste.
  • 4Garnish with asparagus, if desired.
