Ingredients

  • 2/3 c
    butter
  • 2/3 c
    flour
  • 7 c
    milk
  • 4 large
    baked potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 4
    green onions, thinly sliced.
  • 12 slice
    bacon, fried crispy and crumbled
  • 1 1/2 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz
    sour cream
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper

How to Make Baked Potato Soup

Step-by-Step

  1. In large pot, over medium heat, melt butter.
  2. Stir in flour and whisk until mixed well.
  3. Slowly add milk and continue whisking until thickens.
  4. Add potatoes and onions. Simmer for 10 minutes
  5. Add remaining ingredients and stir continuously until the cheese melts.
