Ingredients

2/3 c
butter
2/3 c
flour
7 c
milk
4 large
baked potatoes, peeled and cubed

green onions, thinly sliced.
12 slice
bacon, fried crispy and crumbled
1 1/2 c
cheddar cheese, shredded
8 oz
sour cream
3/4 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
black pepper

How to Make Baked Potato Soup

Step-by-Step

  • 1In large pot, over medium heat, melt butter.
  • 2Stir in flour and whisk until mixed well.
  • 3Slowly add milk and continue whisking until thickens.
  • 4Add potatoes and onions. Simmer for 10 minutes
  • 5Add remaining ingredients and stir continuously until the cheese melts.
